​The Religious Communities and Non-State Actors in the Middle East (RC-NSAME) research group at the University of Jordan conducts interdisciplinary studies on the evolving roles of religious communities and non-state actors in the Middle East. The group examines how these entities influence political, social, and cultural dynamics in the region. Their work encompasses a range of topics, including ideological shifts, state-religion interactions, and the impact of non-state actors on governance and society. Through collaborative research, publications, and public discussions, this research group contributes to a deeper understanding of the complex interplay between religion, politics, and society in the Middle East.​
